Well, the diagnosis is in. I must say, nobody's ever given me as clean a bill of health. Nobody (bar my first psychiatrist—who got me off the booze some twenty years ago but was struck off the roll shortly afterwards for taking advantage of his female patients) has understood me as well. Nobody, to quote an old South African TV ad, has been as nice to me...
